Great start in BRCC for Bruno Vermeeren

Last weekend, the first meeting of the BRCC championship took place at the Zolder track. Bruno Vermeeren and his team mate Olivier Hermans were present with one of the Skylimit Yokohama Porsche 996.

Bruno took the start of the race in 20th place overall (6th place in class) and rapidly joined 16th place overall (4th place in class).

Bruno Vermeeren: “The car was excellent until the first safety car procedure. I got some trouble with the tyre pressure once the safety car came in and decided to slow down the pace. I handed the wheel to my team mate for his stint to get back on track for the last 45 minutes of the race. He handed the car over in 3rd position. I was able to secure our first podium place of the season by finishing 2nd place after the Porsche from Bruynoghe/Langeberg was forced to withdraw from the race.”

BRV Racing: “This is a great way to start the season! It reminds us of the 2009 season when Bruno was able to achieve great results with an older car compared to other competitors. Knowing the background of the Porsche 996 we are looking forward to more competition in our class during next events!”
