Bruno Vermeeren to join BRCC with Porsche 996
|
The first meeting of the BRCC championship will take place at Circuit Zolder this weekend. The Skylimit Yokohama Race Team will enter 3 Porsche 996. Bruno Vermeeren will join the driver line-up of the #71 Porsche.
Bruno Vermeeren: “After a long period of hesitation, a new championship was created on Belgian soil. I’m happy to announce my participation in this new championship at the wheel of a Porsche 996. The car is a bit older compared to others but still reliable enough to aim for good results. In 2011 this Porsche finished first place at every Belcar meeting in GT Open -3500 class and took the win at the Zolder 24 Hours. I had the chance to join the team during the 1000km of Zolder last season and I’m looking forward to gather good results. My team mate for this first meeting will be Olivier “Yokohama” Hermans. I’ll be joined by Jo Lammens later on.”
Peter Van Audenhove/Bart Vanhaeren and Philippe Huart/Benoit Dupont will show their skills at the wheel of the other 996 Porsches.
