BRV Racing Team unveils 2012 project
|
Last weekend, dancing Carré, hosted the BRV Racing Team launch 2012. Jo De Poorter and Bruno Vermeeren unveiled one of the Porsche 996 from SkyLimit race team. This car will be entered in the Supercar Challenge.
“I’ll only take part in the Belgian rounds of the Supercar Challenge with my team mate Jo Lammens,” Bruno says. “This fast and reliable car will defend the colours of SkyLimit and will be serviced by First Motorsport.
The Supercar Challenge consists of 5 Belgian rounds if we take the Zolder 24 Hours into account, an excellent racing schedule to create visibility for our partners.
Besides this, I would like to participate in the Spa 24 Hour race or the ELMS meeting in Zolder. My objective is to develop a full racing programme on Belgian soil again.”
What about all the efforts on American soil until now?
“Well, I don’t exclude racing over there. We still broaden our network, thanks to contacts like Daniel Graeff from Lucini and Racing4Research. A K&N Nascar practice will take place in November in Charlotte, NC, but my primary goal is to fully concentrate on the Supercar Challenge.”
