Vermeeren to strengthen SkyLimit Porsche in Zolder 1000km

The Zolder circuit will host the 1000km on November 12th. This event, formerly known as the Zolder 10 Hours, traditionally closes the Belgian racing season. For this occasion Bruno Vermeeren will join the SkyLimit crew, racing a Porsche 996.

Bruno Vermeeren: “I did not race a lot this season, partly due to my journeys in the United States of America. I wanted to race another event in addition to the Zolder 24 Hours to finish the season on a high note. Together with Jo Lammens and Maxime Sels, I’ll defend the SkyLimit colours, the team structure formed around key person Andy Jaenen.”

Jo Lammens: “The Porsche 996 car is in a perfect configuration for this kind of races to aim for a podium place. We would like to end the season with a great result!”

Andy Jaenen: “Our new structure had an excellent 2011 season in the Belcar Endurance championship. The 996 cup car finished each race with a best result during the Zolder 24 Hours: 10th place overall and class win. We would like to continue this run-up during the 1000km and aim for a top 5 overall position, even a podium place if possible. See you in Zolder.”

The 1000km will take place on November 12th starting at 13h45, finish planned around 21h45.
