BRV Promoteam Racing with double programme at Spa

BRV Promoteam Racing will take part in the 2nd meeting of the Belcar championship on June 5 at Spa within the framework of the Spa 12 hours. Following two successful test sessions the team is confident to manage a good result.
Bruno Vermeeren: “Together with Wim I’ll drive the Porsche Bi-Turbo during the Belcar race. Afterwards I’ll race a Renault Clio during the Spa 12 hours with Luc Gabriël.” |

Great start for Emil Brasfalean/Bruno Vermeeren with Marcos Mantis at Chambley

The first race of the SkyLimit Clubrace 2010 took place at Chambley, France, last weekend. The VW Golf II was entered for Emil Brasfalean.
Emil Brasfalean: “The two first races of my career! The track was new to me for those races over 30 minutes. I had some nice battles during race 1 and finished 11th place. In race 2 I finished 8th place overall. At the end of the day, with both results together I conquered the 3rd place. A first podium!” |

Bad luck in race 1 but great moments in race 2

The BRV Promoteam Racing took part in the 3rd and 4th races of the BTCS championship this weekend at Dijon. Luc Gabriël and Bruno Vermeeren shared a Renault Clio RS III.
Bruno: “It was my first weekend on this track. I studied some movies on internet and learned the circuit through race simulations. Race 1 was held on Saturday - due to fuel on the track on Friday. Luc took the start behind the safety car and stayed in a good rhythm till he made a mistake. It took 5 laps before the car was able to rejoin the track. I took over for the last 30 minutes and was able to gather precious experience for race 2.” |

No luck for BRV Promoteam Racing at Gordon Finest Race

The first race of the new Belcar Endurance Championship took place at circuit Zolder last weekend. BRV Promoteam Racing was very confident but a mechanical problem ruined their race.
Bruno Vermeeren: “Too bad! Everything went fine during qualifying. I took the start with old tyres. After a few laps Wim Meulders took over with new tyres and managed a lap of 1:42.045, which was good for the 7th place. Sunday, a problem with the turbo kept us away from a good result. I’m leaving for a few days to the United States now where I will also have a look at some propositions in car racing for the future.” |

BRV Promoteam Racing ready for Gordon Finest Race

The Gordon Finest Race will take place on the Zolder track on April 10-11. This 150’ race is also the kickoff of the new Belcar Endurance Championship 2010. The Belgian Touring Car Series will race within the same weekend. Wim Meulders and Bruno Vermeeren are very confident after the shakedown last week. |

BRV Promoteam Racing to take part in Belcar Endurance 2010

Club Room Herent hosted the BRV Promoteam Racing team launch on March 20th. This new structure, an alliance between Bruno Vermeeren from BRV Racing Team and Wim Meulders from Promoteam Racing, is ready to manage good results during the 2010 season in the Belcar Endurance Championship. A Porsche Bi-Turbo will be prepared for Meulders/Vermeeren and a VW Golf II for Emil Brasfalean. |

Great start ruined by technical problems

The last meeting of the DSMEC season was held at Circuit Zolder on November 14. This Zolder 10h race was crucial for BRV/Autokrant Racing. A top 3 place was still possible after the bad race at Assen. Drivers Aerts/Vermeeren/Dodemont put in a great deal of effort but technical problems ruined their race again. |

BRV/Autokrant Racing - Ambitious for Zolder 10 Hours

The last meeting of the DSMEC 2009 season will take place on November 14 at Circuit Zolder.
BRV/Autokrant Racing will put in a great deal of effort to win this race: “We would like to win class 4. After the terrible result in Assen we have no other choice if we want to enter the top 3 again. Our Renault Clio is the ideal car for this race and our drivers are well prepared. Jordy Dodemont will strengthen our team and together we look forward to reach a top result!” |

The penultimate race of the DSMEC 2009 season took place at circuit Assen last weekend. BRV/Autokrant Racing Team lost some precious points in the overall ranking and in class 4 due to a problem with the fuel pump. |

The next to last race of the DSMEC 2009 season will take place on October 24 within the framework of the Finale Races in Assen (NL). This will be a crucial race for BRV/Autokrant Racing, taking this race’s double championship points into consideration. |
